黑蒙波荷曼為最靠近自然原始的國度編列文明百科全書，內心極為矛盾拉扯，停留在N之前不僅是遺憾同時可能也是對自然敬意止步。電影沒有著墨太多波荷曼個人，甚至對象牙海岸這個國家也僅是輕輕點擊，像一個西方都市人對原始純美的讚嘆而已，不過這樣就好。
