In a role reminiscent of his most famous character, the nameless 'Yojimbo', Mifune Toshiro is "The Lowly Ronin". This time, he reluctantly agrees when a girl hires him to kill a local offical who has unfairly taxed her villagers. But he soon discoves that not all is at it appears when he finds a direct link to his past.

拍得不错的TV-Movie。整体风格偏夸张搞笑，尤其动作戏。长焦，变焦，recessive staging，仰拍，手提45',58'都不少，段落开场常用小景别动作，总之是典型的impact风格。好在镜语与叙事都相当洗练。剧情是浪人”春夏秋冬“干预御家*动，对以往诸名片致敬不少。
