表面上是推理，但是跟推理没多大瓜葛。剧情更侧重被害人的陈年往事，也因为她缺失健康的爱，影响了下面两代女性。中间谈到陈年往事已经让我惊讶了，结局把没有透露的部分透露出来了，让我很震撼。这种剧情搭配好的配乐才能看下去，如果是读原著乐趣不会很大。

I made the old fool where the skull’s bridle if he winded me.”不愧是英国人拍侦探小说，单从片子说，算是惊悚悬疑，很多蛛丝马迹层层推进，很吸引人。我猜原著应该从莎翁多有着墨，有机会要读一下。次代延宕的孽缘让人只是掌控而不会去爱人。很吸引人。

改编自Minette Walters在1994年出版的同名原著The Scold's Bridle，本来在所有写犯罪小说的女性作者中，Minette Walters的作品风格就已经是非常黑暗、非常压抑、非常致郁了，没想到这部的故事情节是黑暗到新的境界了，真的太可怕了，剧版非常忠于原著，所以更可怕了，总之这本原著我是肯定直接跳过绝不会读的
